Backing Plate

The backing plate is designed to protect your deck.  Whether you drop mount or top mount these decks, the backing plate will spread the clamping force of the truck mounting hardware over a large area to reduce stress cracks.

Drop through mounting:

• Truck base plate: on top of the deck;
• Backing plate: on the bottom;

Top mounting:

• Backing plate: on the top of the deck;
• Truck base plate: on the bottom of the deck;
